In agricultural practices Seed Treatment is a chemical, fungidal or antimicrobial, with which the seeds are treated prior to planting.Seed treatments can be an environmentally more friendly way of using pesticides as the amounts used can be very small. Seed Treatment is useful to protect the plant from the diseases by using pesticides in an appropriate amount.   • We offers Metalaxly 35% WS in the brand name of mataxyl.
  • It is used as a seed treatment in sorghum, bajra, maize, mustard and sunflower for treatment of downy mildew, Philliippine downy, white rust.
  • The dosages per hectare are 200g/100kg seed and formulation is 600g to 100kg seed/Ha depending on seed type.
  • Its mode of action is systematic.
  • It is available in the form of WS(Water dispersible powder for slurry treatment).
  • There is no specific antidote is known. Treatment needs to be done symptomatically.
